Hip Hop Heads & Halloween, who knew? Well, the planning committee for this annual event got the 411 from somebody and has been going strong for four years now. This year’s Halloween Boo Bash added a nice and unexpected twist though, charity with the organization I’m an avid supporter of, Words Beats & Life. Gotta love that! So not only did we have one of my favorite disc jockey’s, DJ Kyotey Grey, spinning hip hop all night, the bomb chicken & mac & cheese buffet, but we got to donate to WBL’s Scholarship Fund (check it out below). Loves it….oh, did I mention that I was Ms. Marilyn Monroe for the evening! Shout out to ThatKellieGirl, fellow board members, Shani Lincoln, Esther Coleman, Tiffany Townsend, and Mark Lawrence for making the event super fun. Also shout out to my fellow social eventrodinaire and guest blogger Sasha Ryan.
